Cofeseg’s two machines to improve productivity in stone extraction

Cofeseg, a company specialising in quarry machinery and accessories for 25 years, continues with the same enthusiasm as on the first day. “Despite the difficult situation that the sector is experiencing, Cofeseg continues to be committed to the introduction and development of innovative ideas that improve productivity in stone extraction,” the company reports.

At the last Marmomac-Verona fair, the company presented the DBM-1950/2450, a Double Disc machine that allows for an easy and economical extraction system.

The parallel cut generated by the machine reaches a maximum depth of around 2.30 metres, combined with a width of up to 2 metres, producing blocks of standard or customised sizes on demand. At the moment, there are two units already working in quarries in Portugal with excellent results.

In addition to the DBM, Cofeseg has launched the new Crawler 100hp-Plus , a wire-cutting machine that does not require rails and has a range of more than 300 meters without cable. It also has a permanent magnet motor that allows for excellent performance while saving up to 30% of energy.
