Cofeseg is preparing to surprise the sector at the Marmomac fair (Hall 2 – C1) with the presentation of two innovative machines that represent a technological leap in the natural stone extraction industry: the DBM Double Disc machine and the DWS 100hp Plus autonomous wire machine. Both machines incorporate the advanced Econetic permanent magnet technology, which offers superior performance with significant energy savings of up to 30%.
For the first time at Marmomac, Cofeseg is presenting the DBM double-disc machine, a cutting-edge solution for the fast and economical extraction of blocks in granite quarries . This machine, which moves on rails mounted on the quarry floor, makes two parallel cuts simultaneously, optimising extraction time. The width of the cuts is adjustable, allowing flexibility to suit various operational needs. Small 2400 mm discs are used for the initial cut, followed by larger discs that can reach a significant maximum depth, ensuring precise and controlled cutting.
The DWS 100hp Plus autonomous wire rope machine redefines mobility and efficiency in quarry operations. Unlike traditional rail-dependent machines, the DWS 100hp Plus operates autonomously, eliminating the need for rails. This autonomous travel system not only makes operation easier, but also allows for greater flexibility in difficult terrain.
